It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and also…THE BUSIEST. We wanted to do our part to help you do a mental health check-in.
Check in with your MIND:
Do you have a long list of things to do? Are you working in circles, doing all the things, but getting nothing done? Time to prioritize! One of our favorite tricks is the Eisenhower Matrix. What’s urgent or not urgent? What can you delegate or delete? Check out this example, and then prioritize your tasks accordingly. THEN get that dopamine hit when you start marking stuff off!
Check in with your BODY:
Are you hungry? Thirsty? Need to go to the bathroom? Do you need to sit for a minute? Or maybe you just need some fresh air and a change of scenery. Take ten minutes right now to take care of you.
While you're working, set a timer or reminder for every two hours to check in with your body. Grab a snack, take a break, then get back at it.
It’s hard to keep it moving when your tank’s on “E.” Rest. Refresh. Replenish. Restart.
You can do this!
